Ikos Andalusia has been voted the Best Family Hotel in the World and the Best Hotel in Spain in the 2023 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards. With a rigorous selection process based on reviews by travellers, these accolades are a reflection of the Ikos commitment to making families feel welcome and the high standard of care at Ikos Resorts.

The Tripadvisor Annual Travellers’ Choice Awards are a celebration of the best in the industry, with the top travel destinations worldwide selected based solely on the opinions and reviews by travellers. This makes them some of the most prized awards in the travel industry and only adds to our delight as we celebrate a sixth successful year at the awards. To be eligible for a Travellers’ Choice award, a resort must earn high-quality reviews throughout the year, demonstrating its commitment to hospitality excellence at every step.
A focus on families
The 2023 Travellers’ Choice awards mark the first time that Ikos Andalusia has been recognised for its fabulous family environment and immersive activities. It comes at the perfect time too, with two new restaurants, shimmering new pools and some fantastic additions to the kids’ club arriving for the 2023 season. With the award coming only two years after the Costa del Sol resort opened in May 2021, it’s a celebration for all and a valuable recognition of the Ikos experience.
A celebration of Mediterranean glamour
The accolades didn’t end there, with four Ikos Resorts featuring among the top-25 list of the Best All-Inclusive Resorts in the world. Ikos Dassia achieved second place worldwide, along with first place as the Best Hotel in Greece, Best All-inclusive Hotel in Europe and Greece, and the Best Luxury Hotel in Greece.
Looking to the future
These cherished wins warm our hearts as we prepare for two sparkling new additions to the Ikos family. Joining Ikos Andalusia on Spanish shores, Ikos Porto Petro will open on the cosmopolitan coast of Mallorca in June 2023. Surrounded by secluded coves, verdant natural parks and the charming Porto Petro marina just nearby, our Mallorca resort brings Unconditional Luxury to the largest Balearic Island. Just across the bay from Ikos Dassia, our flagship resort, Ikos Odisia will also open in June, ready to welcome guests to the pine-scented shores of Corfu.
