A flair for the creative
Chef Antonio is revered for the innovative aesthetics and deep flavour he brings to every dessert he crafts, and for 2025, he has curated an unparalleled selection of patisserie for Ikos Resorts. Each creation is a testament to his dedication to using the finest locally sourced ingredients, transformed into edible works of art that epitomise perfection. Bachour’s presence as part of the Ikos team promises a symphony of flavours across our patisserie and desserts – a culinary journey that will tantalise the senses and elevate the Ikos experience to new heights of indulgence.
An industry titan
Born in Puerto Rico, Antonio started working in the family bakery at the age of 13. A love of the art of pastry was born, and he went on to perfect his skills at a selection of five-star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants. He has twice been named the World’s Best Pastry Chef at The Best Chef Awards, and has worked collaboratively with some of the world’s greatest chefs, from Massimo Bottura, and Jean Georges to Mauro Colagreco and Albert Adrià. Owner of bakeries and Bachour restaurants in Miami, Brazil and Mexico, Antonio has also penned seven books sharing his creative culinary expertise.
