Ikos Resorts is now open with Ikos Olivia, welcoming guests to an exclusive, safe holiday haven, while the opening of Ikos Oceania has been postponed to September 1st until further notice. Ikos Dassia in Corfu and Ikos Aria in Kos will remain closed for the 2020 season, reopening in April 2021. Due to travel regulations in Spain, our new property Ikos Andalusia, despite being fully ready to operate, will open its doors for the first time in April 2021. As we look to the future of travel and upcoming holidays, we would like to provide our guests with an update on the reopening dates for all five of our luxury all-inclusive hotels for the 2020 Season.

We are excited to have already started welcoming guests back to Ikos Olivia in Halkidiki, having reopened its doors from 1st July. Due to travel regulations in Spain, our new property Ikos Andalusia, despite being fully ready to operate, will open its doors for the first time in April 2021,  while the opening date for Ikos Oceania has been postponed to September 1st until further notice. Guests booked to stay in Ikos Oceania are encouraged to hold their bookings, which if necessary, will be upgraded to the nearby Ikos Olivia at no extra cost.

Concerning the rest of Ikos properties in Greece, faced with these unprecedented times and the ongoing force majeure situation, Ikos Dassia in Corfu and Ikos Aria in Kos will remain closed for the 2020 season, reopening in April 2021. The decision has been made considering the reduction in air travel to the Greek islands, as well as the current local regulations and infrastructure to support our best in-class protocols.

With our guests remaining the number one priority, we hope this update will give everyone peace of mind by providing the latest information and offering a range of flexible options for rearranging their stay. Ikos Resorts will cover the difference for any flight changes (of the same class and airline) while guests with existing bookings for Ikos Dassia, Ikos Aria and Ikos Andalusia in 2020 can easily rearrange their stay with us at Ikos Olivia, at no extra charge. Alternatively, they can postpone their holiday for 2021.

Ikos Resorts are welcoming guests under the protection of the new Infinite Care Protocol™, which incorporates best in-class health and safety measures such as testing on arrival, a touchless guest journey using digital services, and round-the-clock medical support, all certified with the TUV Austria Covid shield. Combined with the resorts’ expansive open spaces and high-end touches, we have created a safe environment for all our guests to enjoy without compromising on the overall luxury experience.

Whether it be in 2020 or 2021, we look forward to welcoming all guests back to our leading, luxury all-inclusive resorts once again; a world of safety and freedom with the new Infinite Care Protocol in place, surrounded by over 20 acres of elegant and airy spaces for all to enjoy.
