From Crete

to the Côte d’Azur 

Ikos Kissamos is our newest resort, and the first one on the island of Crete. Launching with two completely new culinary concepts, Ikos Kissamos has partnered with celebrated chefs Ettore Botrini and Pascal Barbot to bring their unique gastronomic visions to life in the resort restaurants.

Introducing Kriti 

An invitation to savour the authentic flavours of Crete. Chef Ettore Botrini draws on his heritage and award-winning experience, elevating traditional island recipes with refinement and respect for their origins. Crafted with regional ingredients and time-honoured techniques, Kriti offers an authentic, rustic and serene culinary experience. Inspired by his roots and trained in world-class establishments, Botrini combines technical precision with a natural sense of hospitality that runs through his blood. He now leads the family restaurant in Corfu, where he first cooked as a child under his father’s guidance, later earning and maintaining a Michelin star for 12 consecutive years.

Introducing La Plage 

Where the Mediterranean light meets the precision of modern French gastronomy. Chef Pascal Barbot has spent a lifetime in pursuit of the essential, stripping each dish back to what makes an ingredient truly sing. Rooted in the Bourbonnais countryside and shaped by the rigour of France’s finest kitchens, his cooking is defined by restraint, seasonality, and an uncompromising respect for provenance. At La Plage, this philosophy finds its natural home in an elegant al fresco setting, accompanied by wines drawn from distinguished vineyards across the region. Before bringing his vision to the Mediterranean, Barbot guided his Parisian flagship, Astrance, to a Michelin star, earning a reputation as one of France’s most thoughtful and quietly influential culinary voices.

The full culinary repertoire

Kriti and La Plage join a long list of dining experiences at Ikos Kissamos. Other venues include Anaya, a pan-Asian al fresco venue showcasing fresh, aromatic flavours from Thailand, China, and Peruvian Azul, where Latin-inspired dishes reflect the vibrant culinary spirit of South America, blending Peruvian and Japanese culture in a lush open-air setting. The international Market celebrates fresh produce and delicacies from around the world, while the Beach Club offers effortless waterfront dining, complemented by colourful cocktails.
