Civil weddings can be conducted at the town at Polygyros.
The weddings are being held on Thursdays in between 11.00-13.30. (Wedding day might change).
Two witnesses are required. (Minimum 18 years old).
For church weddings you need to be Greek Orthodox as we do not have other priests of other dogmas in the area.
Where to start?
Firstly you have to contact the Greek consulate in London and ask them to give you the information regarding the paperwork they require for a civil wedding in Greece.
Before you read the below legal requirements, it is important to understand that these requirements are set by the Greek government and not by us. Therefore they might change without further notice.
